Quickbooks for mac job notes disappearing

There also isn't a supported method to automatically switch to single-user mode to run scheduled backups (unsure if someone has a reliable way around this). One thing to note: QuickBooks will not perform a full backup or any file validation while it's in multi-user mode. Windows 10 is much cheaper to license and works out of the box with QuickBooks (for now). The damn process wants way too many permissions, and sticking it on its own server VM is a waste of licensing costs. The 'server' is a Windows 10 Pro VM, we learned the hard way that Server 20 don't work well with QuickBooks Database Manager. The remote sessions go to a pair of dedicated VM's they access over VPN, and the local access is through physical machines at the office. They have 3 people that access the file on a daily basis: one is 100% local access, second is about 50/50 local/remote, and the third is 100% remote. Our setup is a 'server' that hosts the QuickBooks company files, and each workstation has a local install of QuickBooks and a mapped drive to the company files. I have a client with a mix of local and remote users that access QuickBooks.
